Keynote Testimonials
E&Y was so pleased to have Julie as a speaker at our International Strategic Growth Forum in Palm Springs. Her talk (Catching Happiness: Living a happier life) was standing room only and so well received. Julie’s knowledge, humor and enthusiasm kept us engaged and entertained. We were particularly pleased that everyone left with specific practical tools to use and clearly defined next steps to take to become happier. We are excited to invite her back for next year.

“Informative, inspiring, and funny.” That is how one woman spoke of Julie. Another woman said that Julie’s warm and easy going manner made everyone comfortable and that she couldn’t wait to get home to begin reading the book. Her “Imagine….then do it” presentation inspired women of all ages and backgrounds to reach for those goals and her book provides them with the tools to achieve them. Then the next morning, her “Catching Happiness” presentation made everyone feel good. Julie intermixed relatable and humorous stories with interactive exercises that guided the audience to improving the happiness quotient in their daily lives.

I invited Julie Shifman to be the keynote speaker for the inaugural women’s alumni networking meeting for Newcombe/Tulane University. Our participants reported that Julie’s Imagine…then do it presentation was a powerful experience, highly motivating and invaluable in planning and taking next steps.

This morning made us all feel as if we CAN do anything if we risk and if we dream. This is my belief as well, but always good to be reminded of our purpose. The ladies I sat with at my table were moved to tears several times and I was also glad for some tissues in my purse.

We received numerous praises from your presentation. I’m so pleased we had this opportunity to provide this meaningful program to our alumnae. Thank you so much for graciously offering to share your experience with these women; it was wonderful to watch them all putting your advice into action.

All I have to say is “WOW”! It seems as though everything is aligning in my life since I began my journey after your talk…. so much has been accomplished just when I thought I couldn’t see the light of the very next day. I’m very happy to see that you are offering the DVD of your talk! It’s nice to have a bit of “Imagine” when we need it!

Julie Shifman has a knack for meeting women where they are now, and inspiring them to look ahead to their next endeavor. Speaking to a group of women from Hadassah, the National Council of Jewish Women, and a local synagogue sisterhood, Julie faced a diverse audience. There were professional women considering a career change; stay-at-home moms wondering if this was an opportune time for them to re-enter the workplace; full-time community volunteers; and others as yet unsure of their future plans. Yet, Julie had something useful to offer everyone present. Her talk combined practical exercises to pinpoint the needs and skills of her listeners, and inspirational stories to help them overcome obstacles to their success. We loved her energy, her passion, and her dynamic speaking style, and would recommend her to any women’s group seeking a motivational speaker.

As we all search to bring more meaning into our lives, eye-opening presentations are valued in helping us reach our goals. Julie Shifman brought a wealth of useful tools to help our group identify and navigate our future endeavors. Her presentation Imagine…then do it assisted us in imaging and reaching our potential goals and the next day her presentation Catching Happiness emphasized the obtainable path to happiness. I highly recommend her keynotes to non-profits groups like ours and assume these skills would benefit the corporate world as well.
